Haile Farm Preserve is the Warren Land Conservation Trust’s largest property. It is located in northern Warren, on the Palmer River to the west of Market Street/Route 136. Public access is from the end of New Industrial Way. This 61.1-acre property has several habitats, including tidal marshland, red maple woodland, shrub swamps, coastal shrubland, brushy corridors, and field-forest edges. Species observed here include bald eagle, osprey and deer, as well as a wide variety of insects, plants, mosses and fungi. Work has been completed here on over a mile of trails, with more to come. If you’d like to help out, look for notifications for our next trail work date on our home page and on Facebook. A Stewardship Plan has been created and can be seen here: Stewardship Plan
