Annual Meeting

The Bylaws of the Warren Land Conservation Trust call for an Annual Meeting of its members, who elect new board members and officers, and conduct other “business” such as reviewing the finances of the Trust and voting on changes to the bylaws. Details on matters to be voted on are distributed to members ahead of time. Annual meetings also provide updates on accomplishments, and a preview of plans and priorities for the new year. Publicity regarding the Annual Meeting is done around town, in the Warren Times-Gazette and through social media including our FaceBook page.

The most recent  Annual Meeting was held (on-line) on January 11, 2022. In addition to the election of new Board members and officers (see Our Board), an overview was provided of activities in 2021, as well as plans and goals for 2022.

Keynote speaker was the new Executive Director of the Rhode Island Land Trust Council (RILTC), Kate Sayles. Kate discussed the RILTC’s strategic vision for the future. Slides from her presentation “New Year, New Directions” can be found here.
