Toweset Landing is a kayak launch area including 2 parking spaces fronting on Mount Hope Bay at the end of Maple Road adjacent to a CRMC approved Right of Way to the shoreline. The name is spelled Toweset after its designation on the oldest map of the area and in respect for the original indigenous naming meaning “at the old field or cornfield.” A town managed kayak rack will be installed in 2021. Please be respectful of the neighboring properties and only park in the two designated parking spaces.
